I tested some of Everyday Mineral’s tinted silk finishing powder, intensive light concealer, and golden light matte foundation on my friend and her face became red, and broke out in small rashes. I have never seen this reaction in anyone before using mineral makeup. The combined ingredients were: pure silk powder, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, iron oxide, black currant powder, and ultramarine blue.

Allergies are unique and specific to every person. Any one of those ingredients could of caused the reaction. What your friend is experiencing is a topical allergic reaction…which basically means the allergy is caused by something placed on the skin, not something taken internally. Clean the skin with a gentle non-fragranced cleanser. Swipe witch hazel over the skin. Keep the skin clean for 24 hours. If there is still a reaction, see a dermatologist or GP who will most likely give you a cortisone-derived cream treatment. Good luck.
