How do you apply Sonia Kashuk mineral makeup?

So, I had been using the Bare Minerals makeup and I heard that the Sonia Kashuk mineral makeup was just as good but less expensive and I bought it. My question is, how do you apply it? The Bare Minerals you would shake some of the powder onto the cap and then swirl the brush around in there, the cap of the Sonia Kashuk brand though doesn’t really allow for that, anyone know how you’re supposed to apply it? Thanks!

    Just open it up and tap a little into the palm of your hand. Then, swirl a kabuki brush into the palm of your hand and tap it out. Then swish the brush in a circular motion onto your skin.
